Qualifications What You Will Need: Master's degree in Informatics, Clinical or Healthcare Administration Five years Clinical Information Systems experience, with progressive responsibilities for leadership and support of healthcare IT 3 - 5 years management experience Job Summary: The Director of Clinical Informatics and Clinical Optimization will provide clinical leadership for a comprehensive informatics program with a primary focus on clinical best practice and administration in support of interdisciplinary patient focused care. The position includes Directing the Regional Clinical Informatics and Clinical Optimization Departments. The Director of Clinical Informatics and Clinical Optimization is dedicated to leading a team to provide secure, effective, integrated patient care delivery system that continually improves outcomes, reduces cost, increases efficiency, and enhances patients' experiences. The ability to communicate with all levels of hospital leadership, clinicians, physicians, and ancillary department staff is essential for this position. The director takes a leadership role in Clinical Care Transformation & optimization, maximizing the benefits of information systems within AIT.
