JOB SUMMARY The Implementation Specialist is responsible for supporting the implementation of small to medium size Managed Service Providers operational programs and incremental projects to existing programs. The Implementation Specialist is a professional who actively participates in the implementation by overseeing cross-workstream deliverables. The position requires a basic understanding and appreciation for Managed Service Providers operations and best practices. This position also requires a basic understanding of the Managed Service Providers workflow and various technology offerings. Implementation Specialist may have responsibility in one or more assigned focus areas within the project which may include the following responsibilities: analysis, design, build, testing, validation, and launch. They are accountable for obtaining and maintaining in-depth knowledge of the new or existing end-to-end solution model. Jointly with team leads, team members, assigned mentor, and with facility representatives, they align a future-state workflow and oversee system builds or modification to support the new workflow. They collaborate with other team members, and work across interdisciplinary workgroups, to accomplish these goals as a team. Other duties as assigned to support the Managed Service Providers implementation team. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Communicating project status within the implementation teams, with department representatives, and with higher levels; provide formal status reporting on a periodic basis to supervisory staff as requested. • Participating in application analysis, design, build, and validation sessions within assigned area (may include advanced design and workflow re-design). • Participating in other key project activities and meetings as assigned. • Coordinating and facilitating meetings as assigned; recording meeting minutes as assigned. • Designing and implementing future-state workflows by interacting with department representatives to analyze needs and translate these into system design. • Designing, building, and validating the application to conform to desired workflows. • Testing in a structured manner and documenting testing results. • Following established guidelines for system change control. • Tracking, updating, and resolving issues. • Collaborating with the Training Team in the design and development of role-based training programs to support the workflows to be implemented. • Supporting end-users onsite during go-live events. • Maintaining system documentation to enable ongoing support of the system. • Implementing approved changes based on customer-designated priorities. • Reviewing and testing new builds and releases prior to implementing in the production environment. • Identifying potential system enhancement needs. • Providing demonstrations of system functionality as necessary. Qualifications REVELANT WORK EXPERIENCE 1 to 3 years EDUCATION College Graduate - Preferred SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills required. • Possesses good organizational and presentation skills. Demonstrated presentation/public speaking skills and experience required. • Definitive analytical ability. Problem solving is a required core competency. • A comfort, or even preference, for an environment of discovery and uncertainty. Able to adapt to rapidly changing conditions and situations. • Possesses developed interpersonal skills to work in a high profile and fast paced team environment.
