Job Summary: Processes, maintains and ensures the integrity and quality of the medical record, utilizing technological, analytical and computer and critical thinking skills. Supports the operation of the department by providing prompt, courteous and accurate service to customers. Provides patient information to customers by applying legal and professional practice guidelines to each job duty. Required Education: High School graduate or equivalent with GED Required Experience: Basic computer skills Preferred Experience: One year experience in Health Information Department preferred. Job Summary: The Applications Systems Analyst will ensure a high quality experience for application system users by leveraging strong partnerships with vendors and engineering teams. Provides leadership for the research, evaluation, selection, testing and implementation of information systems in support of the health system's core business and clinical applications. Use proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve applications issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT applications and systems investments. Works with user departments to identify project/system-needs, problem resolution and effective use of application resources. This position is specific to Pharmacy Informatics - Prior experience with Cerner PharmNet and Pyxis is preferred. Required Education: Bachelor's degree or formal training in a technology-related field, or equivalent experience. Preferred Education: Master's degree in a technology-related field, or equivalent experience. Mission Health's Information Technology department invites you to apply to join the Clinical Informatics - Oncology team. Mission Health has been named one of the Top 15 Health Systems in America for an unprecedented sixth time in seven years. This Clinical Informaticist position primarily supports the Oncology service line in ambulatory, Infusion Center and potentially inpatient locations. The ideal candidate will have informatics and Cerner EMR experience as well as nursing experience in Oncology. Role Summary: The clinical informatics specialty use nursing and/or other clinical knowledge to achieve the goal of improving health of populations, communities, groups, families, and individuals. Supporting activities include, but are not limited to, the identification of issues and the design, development, and implementation of effective informatics solutions and technologies within the clinical, administrative, educational, and research domains of practice.The Clinical Informaticists provide ongoing support for service areas and clinical process optimization, as well as collaborate with the interprofessional healthcare team, and other stakeholders in their decision-making in all roles and settings to achieve desired outcomes. Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Workflow analysis, and process improvement methodology are key skills for this role. Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Healthcare field. Preferred Education: Master's Degree. Required License: Nursing Preferred License: Nursing Required Experience: Two years in clinical health care setting. Possess high level of analytical, verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Experience: Clinical background in Oncology. Experience in Informatics and use of Cerner EMR strongly preferred.
