Job Description

Summary :
Ascension Information Services (AIS) located in Troy, MI is seeking to hire a Solutions Development Analyst, to be a member of the AIS Clinical Response Center (CRC).
The CRC Solutions Development Analyst responsibilities include responding to Electronic Health Record (EHR) end user problems by listening, clarifying and troubleshooting. The Solution Development Analyst will provide system support and general maintenance for EHR application(s). 

Responsibilities :
  • This position is with AIS and will have local and national responsibilities in the support of Healthcare Information Technology (HIT) end users and HIT application initiatives across Ascension from the AIS Service Desk location in Troy, MI.

Qualifications Education:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Work Experience:
  • Two or more years of experience preferred.
 
Preferred Experience/Education/Capabilities/Qualities:
Education & Experience:
  • Minimum 4 years of EHR application support experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of EHR related workflows and terminology along with a strong understanding of the Electronic Health Record clinical application system capabilities.
  • Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills necessary to facilitate communication and interaction with all levels of hospital personnel, medical staff and external agencies and organizations.
  • Preferred proficient level knowledge of current clinical technologies with experience supporting the aspects of the system lifecycle.
  • It is preferred to have experience with ServiceNow software.
  • It is preferred to have experience with Cerner EHR application suite.
  • It is preferred to have HIT computer skills and knowledge for break/fix as well as run and maintain.
  • It is preferred to have experience with service desk and other related IT service management software.
  • It is preferred to have experience with common automatic call distribution telephony systems.
