General Summary:

Under general direction, responsible for activities related to system administration. Assigns personnel to various projects, directs their activities, and evaluates their work. Ensures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization. Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software. Implements operating systems enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system. Develops and promotes standard operating procedures.
Qualifications

What you will be responsible for:

Under general direction, responsible for activities related to system administration. Assigns personnel to various projects, directs their activities, and evaluates their work. Ensures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization. Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software. Implements operating systems enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system. Develops and promotes standard operating procedures.  

What you will need :

Experience-Three years of experience in system administration work or equivalent is required.

Technical skills and competencies-Office equipment technology, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), Microsoft Windows Server NT 2000 and 2003. Knowledge of hospital automation field, desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years strong demonstrated experience provisioning, patching and maintaining Microsoft Windows servers in Enterprise environments.
  • Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience provisioning, patching and maintaining Linux servers in Enterprise environments.
  • MUST HAVE SCRIPTING EXPERIENCE¬†(vbs, powershell, etc.).¬†
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Excellent Customer Service is a must.
  • Administrative experience:
    • Enterprise Project
    • ITIL
    • Ticketing Systems


Technical competencies:

  • Microsoft Windows - Senior level, Server 2008R2/2012R2
  • VMware ESXi v5
  • Linux Server Administration - Intermediate level, Red Hat / CentOS / Oracle Linux v7
  • MUST HAVE SCRIPTING EXPERIENCE (vbs, powershell, etc.)
