General Summary:

This position is responsible for the management of the AIT Physician Enterprise Development team and the work product that is delivered.   A thorough understanding of the athena, Cerner Oncology and OTTR products and the technical infrastructure supporting them are essential.  The individual will also need to understand workflow in a physicians practice. 

Excellence in oral and written communications are required. 

This position will require minimal travel (less than 25%) and will be based out of the Altamonte Springs, FL office.

What you will need:

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED :

 

•     Manage AIT Physician Enterprise Development t team.

•     Assist Physician Systems' Director in the definition and review of business requirements for development projects, including scope definition and design.

•     Oversee the analysis, identification and resolution of complex technical problems within the athena, Cerner Oncology and OTTR software platforms.  Then, work in collaboration others to determine the appropriate course of action to be taken based on the analysis performed and all possible solutions

•     Identify software problem areas and work with others to develop short term action plans and provide input to resolve major customer problems

•     Ensure documentation developed and completed for all incidents and change controls requiring Development Team interaction.

•     Ensure client services are delivered in a timely manner, managing the workload and liaising with customers, vendors and staff to ensure effective communication.

•     Works with the stakeholders and QA personnel to ensure that the software operates as designed before being delivered into a production environment.

•     Liaise with vendors and subcontractors and assist in progressing, monitoring and providing status of their work.

•     Maintain ongoing personal contact with customers, key stakeholders and Sr. Leadership team members, participate in customer, project and team meetings and Steering Committees as assigned.

•     Complete all customer services in accordance with the agreed standards and within budget.

•     Maintain proactive communication with customers in progressing their services and facilitate efficient delivery and support of Cerner Oncology, OTTR and athena systems.

•     Support the Director in developing other members of staff to increase the quality of our customer service and support

•     Provide project management to projects assigned

•     Oversee customer support requests and delivery

•     Assist in the documentation and prioritization of requests from end users.

•     Provide technical expertise and support to external stakeholders and internal resources as needed

•     Other duties as assigned by the Director and Sr. Leadership team

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:

•     Working knowledge of athenahealth systems

•     Working knowledge of Cerner, OTTR,  and/or NextGen Ambulatory systems

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

 

•     Bachelor's degree or higher in Informatics, Technology, clinical, or other related field

•     5-7 years experience in ambulatory systems support in place of degree.

•     5-7 years experience in an ambulatory setting or supporting an ambulatory practices

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

•     Bachelor's degree or higher in Healthcare or Technology related field

•     Experience in NextGen, Cerner, or OTTR table maintenance

•     Experience with SQL

 

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:

•        NextGen Certified Professional

•        Cerner Fundamental completion

•        MA, CMA, LPN, RN preferred but not required
