Overview

We are seeking a Program Manager for our Implementation Services organization to manager our large enterprise implementations. The Program Manager is accountable for the concurrent implementation of PatientKeeper's Full Advanced Clinicals software across a large enterprise client. The enterprise implementation is comprised of a high volume of projects with the same scope and timeline that run in parallel. These projects roll up into the leadership of the Program Manager. The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring consistent, repeatable, and predictable implementations across the collection of Full Advanced Clinicals projects.

The Program Manager will have experience in managing complex, highly integrated, multi-site implementations. Their experience should include successful management against a detailed project plan and extend to managing concurrent project plans. The Program Manager must maintain a strong background in project management to rely on as they guide the program.

Over the course of implementing PatientKeeper's solutions a Program Manager's responsibilities will encompass technical project management, client management, change management, and portfolio management. In each of these areas, they must successfully track current work and effectively communicate the road map towards completing future work.

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead the deployment and consistency of project management practices (status reporting, risk and issue management, schedule management, scope management) across concurrent implementations towards success as defined as on time, within budget, and with a high degree of client satisfaction
  • Develop and lead repeatable processes
  • Ensure communication of issues and risk as well as guiding towards resolution
  • Maintain one rolled up enterprise implementation status, timeline, and risks/issues dashboard and manage cross project interdependencies
  • Manage a roll up of project budgets across multiple implementation projects
  • Monitor cross project resource utilization
  • Act as a point of escalation or central point for escalating issues
  • Ensure adherence to standard tools, documentation, and metrics across concurrent implementations
  • Set, manage, and communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders
  • Ensure the transition from Implementation to Support is consistent across client's PatientKeeper Full Adv. Clinicals implementations
  • Continually drive the program towards greater and more efficient scalability


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • A minimum of 7 years of software project management experience and a preferred 10 years total related professional experience
  • Demonstrated project management skills in leading complex technical software implementations preferably in the healthcare space
  • PMP Certification
  • Prior experience in a lead role successfully managing full client life cycle projects


Required Skills and Experience
  • Excellent Project Management and business process analysis skills are required
  • Experience implementing business or clinically oriented software solutions
  • Experience with Healthcare IT systems; CPOE experience a plus
  • Project methodology and/or software lifecycle experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • A proven ability to deliver projects on time & within budget
  • Strong motivation & team orientation
  • A desire to learn new skills & technologies
  • Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Project knowledge
  • Ability to meet travel requirements of 40%
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects
  • Maintain industry awareness of current upcoming regulation in the healthcare industry
  • Ability to provide business recommendations to clients
  • Skilled at meeting management and change management
