**AUTOMATION AND SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

BASED AT RENTON CAMPUS TO SUPPORT EQUIPMENT AND SYSTEMS FOR OUR AUTOMATED REFILL CENTER.

Under the general supervision of the Manager of the Automated Refill Center, independently initiates, identifies and coordinates the analysis of complex systems needs in project areas such as: new business operating models, innovative approaches to solutions support, market research of emerging or available product functionality and operational readiness assessment. Systems development, systems implementation, systems interfaces and systems maintenance as well as manage daily workflow as it relates to all aspects of the system.

Essential Responsibilities:

Provide systems expertise for the Automated Refill Center; in the development, training, testing, optimization of workflow and throughput of prescriptions. As the subject matter expert develop and recommend strategic plans and innovations for performance improvements to leadership, staff, clinical pharmacists which anticipate the future impact of changing business requirements. Consult with and advise Pharmacy Management on the application of information processing technology as it relates to the daily operations. Compare and contrast information processing options including hardware and software, with ongoing costs of daily operations, highlighting strategic opportunities for workflow simplifications and saving of labor and other operating costs.
Manage systems and workflow to maintain optimal production, effectively communicating and directing pharmacy staff on an ongoing, daily basis and serving as the primary contact between the Automated Refill Center and system vendors to identify and solve network problems in a timely fashion. Perform database inquiries to provide Diagnostic tools for Pharmacy systems. Responsible for onsite hardware maintenance. Maintains current knowledge of application systems, interfaces, reporting processes, and data capture. Manages ongoing application support with the various technical areas to ensure continued application usage and success. Maintains current knowledge on health care industry, regulations, and KP business strategies. Develops test plans. Provides product expertise to delivers presentations, demonstrations and training for application systems. Coordinates installation and first-use of new applications.
Consistently support compliance and the principles of Responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organizations, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting noncompliance and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Coaches as appropriate. Acts as a resource and mentor for staff. To sustain efficient current and future functionality, to provide operational and information system expertise for new version upgrades, and optimization of current functionality. As the subject matter expert, test systems changes, develop training materials, and assess workflow impact solutions.  
Support test script development, test data validation, test results analysis, defect and problem resolution and identification of problem fix. Perform configuration Set up and test configurations modifications and enhancements. Build, maintain and update application master files and category lists to ensure data integrity. Support automated systems and interfaces for the Automated Refill Center related applications/services relevant workflow sessions and manage resulting workflow changes.
Chooses, recommends, creates and/or adopts techniques, standards and methodologies to apply. Makes recommendations for improvements to KP standards/methodologies. Provides on-going communication. Develops project plans for specific projects or project sub-tasks for the department. Acts as project lead in the coordination of solution development and the implementation of the final product/service. May develop project plans. Identifies and coordinates with project managers and implements schedule deadlines as appropriate.
Coordinates the development of comprehensive business cases with cost, service, benefit and ROI dimensions of proposed projects that are used at management and executive levels for funding and scope decisions. Presents completed business cases to leadership for approvals. Develops the analysis and definition of efficient, cost effective solutions that support client business processes and functional requirements for complex projects or sub tasks on large projects. Evaluates the existing applications and alternative operational efficiencies that could address the requirements and develops recommendations where appropriate. Plans, leads, coordinates, and conducts the analysis of business processes and functional requirements and the preparation of appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience

Minimum five (5) years of related experience.
Minimum one (1) year of experience in testing new systems.
Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field OR four (4) years of experience in directly related field.
High School Diploma OR General Education Development (GED) required.
License, Certification, Registration

Demonstrated skills in complex project management with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams (Management and IT departments) to efficiently deliver and maintain multiple platforms.
Demonstrated working knowledge and experience in hardware and software in multiple computing platforms.
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills. Must exhibit efficiency, collaboration, candor, openness, and results orientation.
