The foundation of the HealthTrust model is a patient-focused mission, led by experienced clinical leaders and operational subject matter experts, to provide Total Supply Cost Management for clients. Supply Chain Systems is a Division of HCA Information Technology & Services that is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying products to internal business units with Health Trust Supply Chain Solutions.

The employee in this Project Manager (II) role will be responsible for planning, estimating, staffing, organizing and monitoring multiple projects. The employee will work closely with business leaders, the Supply Chain Systems team and associates in the PMO to estimate time, costs, and quantity of resources required to successfully implement productions projects. With this in mind, the Project Manager (II) will create detailed project plans including cost, risks, schedule and resource requirements.

The Project Manager (II) should demonstrate an understanding for complex ideas, attentive listening and clear written and verbal communication. The Project Manager (II) should also fulfill a customer facing role in which she/he manages the customer relationship by building and maintaining a level of trust with the customer, serves as a customer advocate by committing to meet the expectations of the customer, and offers guidance and support in analyzing and solving customer problems. Reports to the Program Manager, Supply Chain PMO.

• 20% - SCRUM Master, leads team SCRUM meetings, iteration planning, and retrospectives

• 15% - Tracks project progress and status

• 10% - Obtains and confirms resource plans for projects for repeated and known scope

• 10% - Proactively identifies and mitigates project risks

• 10% - Plans and controls scope for "straightforward" projects with little variety from similar or previous projects

• 10% - Manages and estimates change orders for customers and partners

• 10% - Creates detailed project plans including cost, schedule, and resource requirements

• 10% - Produces standard project status reports

• 5% - Mentors more junior project managers

3 or more years

Bachelor's Degree- Required

Preferred experience includes:

Relevant working experience, preferably in the Healthcare IT industry. In addition - experience working in group purchasing and with supply chains is preferred. Key desired experience includes the following:

Project planning and implementation skills including reporting and directing the work of others

Experience implementing projects using Lean/Agile/Scrum methods

Experience developing budget estimates for project proposals

Experience creating meeting agendas with clear outcomes, timing, and preparation needs

Experience leading and facilitating meetings

Ability to manage a small team against tasks and milestones

Ability to produces concise and compelling written materials

Experience working with and leading cross-functional teams. Contributes/leads presentation preparations

Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time
