Work Hours/Shift:

Full-Time, Monday - Friday


You Will Be Responsible For:

•               Serves as one of the interfaces with business on various projects.  In collaboration with a senior Product Owner and Functional Managers, articulates the business challenge to define the "what" of the project.  Supports business owners in defining business objectives, including strategy.  Manages release and other delivery timelines with business owners and coordinates these with the agile team.

•               Owns assigned projects with accountability for delivery.  Maintains set budgets for projects.  Informs business and stakeholders of status, issues, and timelines.  Identifies and collaborates with subject matter expert to gather specialized functional and technical information needed for project.  Serves as escalation point for developers, business, and team on project related issues, clarifying requirements.

•               With agile coach, ensures product is delivered using iterative process & techniques. Collaborate with functional managers and agile coach on requirements gathering effort on the epics as needed.  Leads the documentation of story details based on the epics and after review with development.  Participates in agile meetings including standups, planning retrospectives, and demos. Should be available for backlog refinement to decompose/estimate stories.  Works with UX on design, creating mockups. Ensures new features are documented for implementations and release notes and acceptance criteria are articulated.  Assist in leading the demonstration of the latest iteration to customers (pre-release) and gathers feedback.

•               Coordinates project related activities with 3rd party vendors.

•         Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or Healthcare related field, OR five years of equivalent experience

•         Experience working with variety of organization levels including C Suite leaders



•         Master's degree in Business Administration or Information Technology

•         Experience working in healthcare information technology

•         Experience with electronic healthcare records/electronic medical records

•         Experience working in healthcare operations

•         Experience working in environment applying Scrum or Agile methodology



•         Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)

•         Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)



The Product Owner contributes to creating the vision and roadmap, working closely with the business.  Works as the voice of the customer with regards to technology, rapidly delivering new features that add value to the business.  Is responsible for the product backlog and drives iterative production via prioritized stories and established story acceptance criteria.  Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
