Oversees and performs all aspects of supporting the ITG testing toolset which includes the design, setup, and maintenance of the testing toolset and related environments in which the toolset resides.

Proactively assesses toolset needs, develops and implements testing toolset standards.

Leads, mentors and coaches Associate Testing Tools Analysts and Testing Tools Analysts I & II.

Test Analyst skills will help transform healthcare through technology and solutions that dramatically improve patient care and business operations. Every project we pursue in HCA Healthcare Information Technology Group(ITG), every process and technology we develop, and every decision we make ultimately influence the care of the patients we serve.

Oversees and performs all aspects of managing, developing and supporting test automation efforts.

Interacts with application or testing SMEs to develop detailed test cases for use in test automation development. Provides consultant level expertise to test automation efforts outside of Testing Technology team. Ensures automation tools are aligned to testing tools processes and needs.

Oversees Testing Tools Analyst I and Testing Tools Analyst II in support of Client Support Services and tool user base for issues related to the IT&S testing toolset.

Oversees and performs all aspects of ensuring ITG testing tools meet the needs of the user community by staying current in technical and process developments. Ensures tools are aligned to defined testing tools processes. Consults in project planning efforts which may introduce significant technical or operational risk to the IT&S testing toolset.

Oversees and performs all aspects of mentoring, development, and training of QACOE team members on IT&S testing toolset and test automation. Ensures knowledge transfer of advanced IT&S testing tools functions to QACOE and appropriate ITG team members. Provides training to Testing Technology team members.

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Equivalent work experience can substitute for degree

• HP Application Lifecycle Management knowledge

• Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle

• Understanding of process design and definition

• Supplemental education or certifications in software testing tools or test automation tools

This job is a largely sedentary role operating in a typical office setting, routinely using standard office equipment such as computers and phones and requiring speaking, hearing, fine motor dexterity, and occasional overtime.
