JOB SUMMARY
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES


Enforces the ITG security policies and standards to protect the corporation's electronic information assets. Provides services and support that empower users to perform their functions in an effective and efficient manner while balancing the need for information asset protection. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; receiving request and verifying information, granting and approving user access and maintaining completed request forms. After hours on call support required on rotation.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Assign/maintain system access for all internal and external Parallon Workforce Solutions employees.

• Maintains procedures for adding a new user, modify access or terminate access to all PWS applications.

• Responsible for granting Virtual Private Network access.

• Process Electronic Security Access forms request for clinical system access.

• Provide telephone customer support for access to all PWS applications.

• Provide user access and maintain templates for all Meditech markets.

• Maintains privacy, confidentiality, security and integrity of organizational data.

• Maintains confidentiality of all sensitive data.

• Set up user's access once request has been approved and forward the approved request to appropriate department in ITG who will then set up the user's access.

• Initiates activities to assist in the improvement of the department/organization performance.

• Records and maintains incidents accurately in tracking software.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
• Excellent customer service skills

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

 
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.

• Works well independently and within a team environment

• Proficiency with Computer Technology.

• Experience with MEDITECH preferred.

• Must be flexible and available to assist users when problems arise. Work when needed to avoid interfering with peak user shifts; be able to transfer to remote sites for installations and maintenance when needed.

High School Graduate/Equivalent

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS
• Requires prolonged sitting and some bending, stretching.

• Requires; eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity, sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.

• Requires the perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction; ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound

• Requires normal eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.

• Requires; dexterity to type

• Work is performed in an office environment and involves frequent contact with staff and the public.
