Care Delivery Strategy and Implementation is a team within Kaiser Permanente's (KP) National Health Plan and Hospital Quality group responsible for the development and realization of health and care delivery-related strategies. We aspire for clinical and operational leaders to be able to understand, translate, and integrate care delivery strategies into practice. The Care Delivery Strategy and Implementation team provides direct support to realize KP's mission to improve the health of its members and communities we serve.

Under the direction of the Senior Director, this Project Manager will guide governance support and operations for a portfolio of national care delivery technology investment projects, so priority projects are funded, developed, and implemented into care delivery operations across the program. Responsibilities include project intake, reviewing and coordinating monthly status update and change request materials for executive review, facilitating and reviewing quarterly reports to executive leadership, closely coordinating with finance, IT and Medical Group colleagues, and maintaining adherence to budget and applicable policies.
This role is the liaison between project delivery teams and executive members of the governance committee. The Project Manager will leverage functional expertise, a facilitative approach, and results-orientation to ensure successful execution of goals that are aligned with the priorities of the cross-regional committee leadership. 
Essential Functions:
- Manages large complex projects or multiple projects of moderate complexity.
- Provides consulting for business partners for business case development
- Demonstrates understanding of and knowledge in methods and project management, and applies this in all stages of project.
- Applies the risk management process.
- Sustains strong ongoing relationships with client middle and senior management during projects.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and provides continuous feedback for improvement of approved project management methods and business methods to projects.
- Determines the impact of current/existing technologies on the project.
- Works on significant and unique assignments of diverse and complex scope.
- Addresses opportunities for process improvements and influencing change.
- Requires more complex planning and direction setting with diverse and multiple stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:
Experience
- Minimum seven (7) years of project management experience.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in related field, OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

Additional Requirements:
- Demonstrates knowledge, experience and use of change management process and impact on business.
- Manages all phases of the project delivery life cycle and consults for other projects.
- Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting multiple complex initiatives and inter-departmental project teams with minimal supervision.
- Experience collaborating and tightly coordinating with executives, operational leaders, peers and project teams across the organization, including but not limited to The Permanente Federation, Information Technology, Program Office and IT Finance, Regions, Business Partners; ensures customer-service orientation.

Ability to do the following:
- Utilize effective program and project management principles and tools with multiple stakeholder groups
- Maintain calendars, including major milestones, and committee requests
- Develop agendas and materials for four monthly governance reviews
- Review deliverables and answering project team questions as needed
- Strong client relationship and executive communication skills
- Establish consistent processes and addresses gaps with relevant stakeholders
- Manage in ambiguity, establishes effective working relationships, and executes through collaboration across disciplines
